Desertfest Belgium adds Dead Meadow, Wiegedood, Messa and more to 2018 line-up

Desertfest Belgium has announced a few more bands including a replacement for John Garcia, who was forced to postpone his tour due to unforseen delays in the recording of his new album. The historic Dead Meadow will play in his stead and will use the stage of Desertfest to present their new record, The Nothing They Need, released on March 2nd via Xemu Records, in a performance celebrating two decades of stoner riffage. Also confirmed are Belgian black metal heavyweights and members of the Church of Ra collective, Wiegedood – who will be on tour with Yob, also playing the festival -, post doom pioneers Ancestors, scarlet doomsters Messa and noisemakers Heads. These five bands join previously announced Amenra, Enslaved, Crowbar, Elder, Acid King, Wo Fat, Castle, Lucifer and others, with more names to come soon. You can check the entire line-up so far, here.

Desertfest Belgium takes place in Trix, in Antwerp, on October 12th-14th. Three-day tickets are available for 105 euros and can be purchased online, here.
