Next week: Anna von Hausswolff plays four shows in Portugal during Misty Fest
Anna von Hausswolff is returning to Portugal next week! The Swedish composer has been making waves ever since the release of 2015’s The Miraculous, garnering international attention from the press and audiophiles alike. Through her use of haunting organ soundscapes and her own surreal voice, Anna has created her own musical style, which blends art pop with experimental and drone music and is both beautiful and eerie. Earlier this year, Anna released her fourth studio album, Dead Magic, to critical acclaim and is now considered a renowned artist by many.
It is then the perfect time for Anna von Hausswolff to return to the country that fell in love with her after a brilliant performance in Amplifest two years ago. As part of Misty Fest, a festival that brings singer-songwriters from all over the world to perform in various cities around Portugal, Anna will be presenting Dead Magic in four different shows. The dates are as follow:
Nov. 01 – Lisbon, PT – Teatro Tivoli BBVA
Nov. 02 – Coimbra, PT – Convento São Francisco
Nov. 03 – Ponta Delgada, PT – Teatro Micaelense
Nov. 04 – Porto, PT – Casa da Música (Sala 2)
Tickets for the four shows range from 12,5 to 22 euros and can be purchased online via Ticketline (Lisbon and Porto) and Bilheteira Online (Coimbra and Ponta Delgada). Misty Fest takes place on October 30th-November 25th. Also confirmed are Scott Matthew, Avishai Cohen Trio and many more. You can find more info on the festival, here.
