HHY & The Macumbas announce “Beheaded Totem” release shows in Porto and Lisbon

Transcending and incredibly frenetic are only but two ways to describe Beheaded Totem, the second full-length album by HHY & The Macumbas, the enigmatic Portuguese ensemble fronted by Jonathan Silva and which also includes João Pais Filipe, Brendan Hemsworth, Filipe Silva, Frankão, André Rocha and Álvaro Almeida, all of them distributed among several percussion and rhythmic instruments. With the release of this second LP, the talented group has announced two very special shows to celebrate the release of Beheaded Totem – on November 16th the group will play at Teatro Rivoli’s Understage, in Porto, and on November 29th, they will play at Musicbox, in Lisbon. The invitations are sent, shall we go for a dance?

Tickets for the show in Porto are available for 5 euros and can be purchased online via Bilheteira Online. We await information regarding tickets for the Lisbon show and will keep you posted.
