Fu Manchu set to headline Sound of Liberation’s 15th Anniversary events

By now, those that follow the more hazy inclinations of the underground will know the name Sound of Liberation. Founded in 2005, this German tour booking agency specializes in all things stoner and doom, and has an impressive roster of bands under its care – we are talking names such as Brant Bjork, Colour Haze, Mars Red Sky, Causa Sui, Samsara Blues Experiment, Naxatras and Ufomammut, among many others. Next year, Sound of Liberation is celebrating 15 years of existence and because of it, they are putting together two special events that will take place in two different cities of Germany – June 26th at Schlachthof, in Wiesbaden, and June 27th at Backstage, in Munich. And because they don’t want to leave us empty-handed with just a pair of dates, SOL has confirmed the presence of the mighty Fu Manchu (on the photo above) as the principal headliners of both events. The band will be celebrating their 30th Anniversary with a very special tour, so that makes it the perfect band to have at a birthday bash. The Atomic Bitchwax and Sasquatch, both members of the SOL family, are also confirmed, with more names to be announced soon.
