Pestilence, Iron Angel, Mortuary Drape and more to perform at the 27th edition of Hardmetalfest Mangualde

Not long before this year’s edition of Hardmetalfest Mangualde was over, we received word of the lineup for 2021. As impressive as that may sound to you, that is just how the oldest metal festival in Portugal operates, year after year, bringing some of the best names of the European underground. Next year will be no different, as Hardmetalfest Mangualde advances with all its might to edition number 27 and confirms the ten immensely powerful names that will take part of its lineup. The Dutch progressive death metal maniacs Pestilence will be the headliners this time, as they return to Portugal to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of their third LP, Testimony of the Ancients, and the German power thrashers Iron Angel won’t be too far behind on that spotlight, they who will also be presenting their latest record, Hellbound. Also confirmed are the Italian black/death metal occultists Mortuary Drape, the German antifasctist thrashers Hate Squad, the Italian heavy metallers Deathless Legacy and a Portuguese metal contingent formed by Attick Demons, Gwydion, Toxikull, Biolence and Sadistik Overkill. Now all we have to do is patiently wait an entire year until we get to see all these amazing bands live.
