Atheist reschedules European tour to Winter 2021, second Portugal show date added

It’s been nine years since we’ve seen Atheist set foot on European soil and now, we will have to wait a few months more before the renowned pioneers of technical death metal make their way back to Europe. Due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic that is still affecting tours and festivals all over the world, Atheist have been forced to postpone their tour, which was set to start tomorrow. The entire trek has now been moved to next year, where it will take place during the months of February and March. The good news, however, is that a second date in Portugal has been added – the band will not only perform on March 4th at the RCA Club, in Lisbon, but also on March 5th at Metalpoint, in Porto. But it gets better; the formerly announced special guests CadaverSvart Crown and From Hell will still partake in the tour and two opening bands have been added in select dates – Critical Mess (from 17/02 to 25/02) and Typhus (from 07/03 to 13/03) -, with a third opening act to be announced in due time.
