1000mods announce new record, Cheat Death, out on November 8th via Ouga Booga and the Mighty Oug Recordings

Greece’s heavy rock titans 1000mods make their return after four years and their acclaimed last record, Youth of Dissent, with their highly anticipated fifth studio opus, Cheat Death. Set to be their heaviest record to date, Cheat Death delivers ten powerful sonic statements packed with metal and punk influences, while still delivering a few shiver-inducing gems along the ride. 1000mods are ready to trample upon the heavy rock world and take no prisoners, and you’d better be ready for it! About the record’s theme, the band states, “In life, only death matters, and in music and arts most specifically, you can only realize life through death and vice versa. But what if you cheat death? What happens next? From Heraclitus to Camus, from Socrates to Nietzsche, sometimes we just reconsider how we approach things, life and death. We have to give our small lives a purpose as no one gives a fuck. And we must destroy the walls, limits and values to give it a reason because no one cares. That’s life, and that’s cheating death”. Below this article you can watch the video for the record’s first single, “Overthrown”, an 8-minute juggernaut loaded with sharp metallic riffs, stomp-inducing grooves, Dani G’s singalong-ready vocals, plus a special appearance from Godsleep frontwoman Amie Makris on backing vocals.

Cheat Death will be released on November 8th via Ouga Booga and the Mighty Oug Recordings. Pre-orders are now available here.
