Samsara Blues Experiment, The Atomic Bitchwax and more added to SonicBlast 2018 line-up

The impressive line-up for this year’s SonicBlast Moledo just got even more impressive. To the formerly announced Earthless, Kadavar, Nebula, Mantar, Ufomammut, Conan, Naxatras, Purple Hill Witch, Ruff Majik and Atavismo, now join an ocean of exciting bands, with a few more still to be announced.

Let’s get straight to the point. Samsara Blues Experiment and The Atomic Bitchwax are definitely the highlights of this new announcement. Both bands have released well-received records last year and both are returning names for the festival. We are expecting high doses of psych from these two. And speaking of heavy psych, Causa Sui have also been confirmed. The danes play their special blend of psychedelic rock influenced by prog, krautrock and jazz. Their latest release, Vibraciones Doradas, proved that they are a force to be reckoned with, something that will surely translate on stage. The greek quartet 1000mods are another band that fits this mold, with their fuzz-oriented stoner rock, something that had them named as one of the most important bands in the genre.

We also have the first signs of the portuguese contingent, in the form of The Black Wizards, a band that had an amazing performance at Desertfest just the other week and has been on the mouths of many for months, Solar Corona, players of a cosmic and groovy brand of rock, and Greengo, born from a union between fuzz and green haze and playing stoner rock mixed with sludge metal.

SonicBlast Moledo 2018 takes place on August 10th-11th at Centro Cultural de Moledo. Daily and two-day tickets are available for 35 and 48 euros, respectively. Both can be purchased online via Bilheteira Online. Please note that the two-day tickets will change price to 55 euros in July. Price of daily tickets will remain the same until the date of the event.
