Damnation Festival adds Anaal Nathrakh, Saor and more to 2018 line-up
Relentless, unforgiving, uncompromising. This is how one could describe the ever-increasing line-up of this year’s Damnation Festival. It could also describe their most recent acquisitions. Hailing from Birmingham, England, come Anaal Nathrakh, masters of sonic depravation and orchestrated carnage, all too ready to unleash upon us their new opus, A New Kind of Horror, set to be released on September 28th via Metal Blade Records. This will be their only UK show for this year, so be prepared for utter devastation. Also confirmed for the festival are Scotland’s celtic folk quartet Saor, Norway’s noise-rockers Årabrot, North Dakota’s blackgaze collective Ghost Bath, Philadephia’s post-metallers Rosetta, Denmark’s stunning act MØL and Austria’s party thrashers Insanity Alert. All these seven bands join previously announced Ihsahn, Batuhska, The Ocean and Fukpig.
Damnation Festival 2018 takes place in Leeds University on November 3rd. Tickets are available for 46 pounds and can be purchased online, here.
