Yob and Wiegedood return to Porto in October, more European tour dates announced

They play doom metal as a mantra, as a gateway to the vastness of the cosmos and the soul within oneself. It’s their own way of overcoming even the hardest of obstacles and reaching ascension. And after what was a crushing performance at Amplifest 2014, the mystic trio known as Yob will once again return to Hard Club, in Porto, on October 27th, to present their brand-new record, Our Raw Heart, released on June 8th via Relapse Records, and one that marks the band’s return after vocalist and mentor Mike Scheidt’s medical scare almost two years ago. Accompanying the band on this night – and on tour, whose full dates you can see here -, will be Church of Ra members Wiegedood, who are also returning to Porto after taking over the stage of Amplifest 2015 and whose new record, De doden hebben het goed III, they will be presenting in Portugal for the first time.
