Enslaved, Child, Lucifer and more added to Desertfest Belgium 2018 line-up

You all know the drill by now, right? That’s right! New month, new band announcements for Desertfest Belgium. This time around the festival decided to surprise everyone a little bit by confirming beloved progressive black metallers Enslaved, a band some might feel is a bit misplaced for the event at hand, but like the festival, we feel it’s a natural fit given the festival’s concept of expanding the idea of what is truly mindbending heavy music. No less important is the rest of the announcement, which consists of the witchcrafting doom metal of Lucifer, the psychedelic blues infusion of Child, the no-frills Texan boogie of Blood of the Sun and the dangerous soundscapes of Sonic Wolves, a project featuring Vita of Ufomammut and “Doomqueen” Kayt Vigil. These five bands join previously announced Amenra, Yob, Crowbar, Elder, Acid King, Wo Fat, Castle, Naxatras and others, with more names to be announced soon. Desertfest Belgium takes place in Trix, in Antwerp, on October 12th-14th. Three-day tickets are available at a reduced price of 95 euros and can be purchased online, here.
