Hypocrisy, Dimmu Borgir and Korpiklaani among the first names announced for MetalDays 2019
After a very successful edition this year which saw Judas Priest headline an incredible bill, MetalDays has begun unveiling the first names for its seventh edition – sixteenth if you count Metalcamp. At the head of this first batch of bands are Swedish alien explorers Hypocrisy, who are currently recording the follow-up to 2013’s End of Disclosure, the Norwegian symphonic maestros Dimmu Borgir, who released their tenth opus, Eonian, earlier this year, and the drunken Finnish party crew Korpiklaani, who are about to release a new record, Kulkija. Also confirmed and by no means less important, are Soilwork, Rise of the Northstar, Impaled Nazarene, Gaahls Wyrd, Alkaloid and Dornenreich, with more names to come soon.
MetalDays 2019 takes place in Tolmin, Slovenia, on July 21st-27th. Early bird tickets are available at a starting price of 150 euros and can be purchased online, here.
