Rotting Christ, Saor, Heilung and more announced for Brutal Assault 2019
Last month, only a few days after this year’s edition was over, we got the first names for next year’s Brutal Assault. Now that the ticket presale has started, the veil is lifted a little bit more and we get to see seven more names announced for 2019. Among them are the Greek gothic black metalllers Rotting Christ, who have already started working on the follow-up to 2016’s Rituals, the Scottish atmospheric black metal band Saor, who will be releasing its fourth opus, Forgotten Paths, on February next year and the unmistakable amplified history act Heilung, who have been garnering international attention since last year. Also confirmed are Unfathomable Ruination, Wolfbrigade, Raised Fist and Perfectcitizen. These seven names join previously announced Meshuggah, A Pale Horse Named Death, Napalm Death, Anaal Nathrakh, Testament and Gutalax.
Brutal Assault takes place at Fortress Josefov, in Jaroměř, Czech Republic, on August 7th-10th. Four-day tickets are available for 92 euros and can already be purchased via the festival’s e-shop, here.
