Electric Moon and The Vintage Caravan among the first names confirmed for Freak Valley Festival 2019

It’s the moment we have all been waiting for: the first names for the 2019 edition of Freak Valley Festival are here! Even though they are only five, they are more than enough to whet our appetite and yours too, we’re sure. Without further ado, let’s begin with Electric Moon, the intense improvisational astronauts from Germany, who are preparing to re-issue their classic record Inferno and are bringing back their original drummer Pablo Carneval for a very special and otherworldly performance. Personally, we can’t wait but there are more bands to be anxious about. Bands like the young Icelandic power trio The Vintage Caravan, who recently released their fourth studio album, Gateways, as well as New Zealand’s heavy rock psychers Arc of Ascent, the Polish prog fuzzers Spaceslug and the tectonic Irish doomsters Slomatics. More bands and a few surprises will be announced soon but this is already a line-up to look forward to.

Freak Valley Festival 2019 takes place in Netphen, Germany, on June 20th-22nd. Three-day tickets are available for 89 euros and can be purchased online via Eventbrite.
