Hellfest Open Air reveals (almost) complete lineup for 2019
Oh boy, here we go! Hellfest Open Air has unveiled the massive lineup for its 2019 edition and once again, it couldn’t be any better. At the forefront, we have previously announced Slayer, Dropkick Murphys and Manowar, who are now joined by great names such as Tool, Kiss, Demons & Wizards, Gojira, ZZ Top, Lamb of God, Dream Theater, Anthrax, Testament, Clutch, Municipal Waste, Gloryhammer and many others. And that’s just the Mainstages, mind you, which makes it all the more surreal.
Over at the Temple and Altar stages, the previously announced Carcass are joined by King Diamond, Tom G Warrior’s Triumph of Death – performing a classic Hellhammer set for the first time ever -, Emperor, The Sisters of Mercy, Bloodbath, Deicide, Vomitory, Cannibal Corpse, Possessed, Impaled Nazarene, Venom Inc., Tormentor, Wiegedood and Pestilence, among others. For the Warzone and Valley stages, we have incredible names such as Fu Manchu, Cult of Luna, Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, Refused, The Adicts, Sum 41, The Obsessed, Yob, Cancer Bats, Descendents, Le Bal des Enrages, The Ocean, Mantar, Sumac, Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats, All Them Witches, No Fun At All and Conan, just to name a few. There are still a couple of names left to be announced but you can already hop on over the festival’s website here and gush over the entirety of the lineup yourself.
