Cult of Luna, Zeal & Ardor, Daughters and more confirmed for ArcTanGent Festival 2019
Here we go again, ladies and gentlemen! ArcTanGent has just made its first big announcement for this year and it contains quite the panoply of bands that will surely make anyone happy. Joining previously announced Saturday headliners Meshuggah will be the New York experimental rock group Battles, who will be the Friday headliners, plus the Swedish post-metal savants Cult of Luna, the Swiss avant-garde black metal collective Zeal & Ardor, the English post rockers 65daysofstatic and the intense noise rockers from Providence, Rhode Island, known as Daughters. But wait, there’s more, much more.
Other names confirmed for the festival include the instrumental rockers Caspian, the progressive metal band The Contortionist and the the post sludge metallers Bossk, as well as The Black Queen, Conjurer, The Algorithm, Møl, The Physics House Band, Birds in Row, GosT, Frontierer, AK/DK, Letters From The Colony, Car Bomb, Azusa, Wild Cat Strike, Invalids, Standards, Big lad, Pijn, Lost in the Riots, LLNN, Sithu Aye, Voronoi, Floral, Aiming For Enrike, Ogives Big Band, A.A. Williams, Hexcut, Cattle and Sugar Horse. Quite the mouthful, eh? And that’s just the start, many more acts will be announced in due time, so keep your eyes peeled.
ArcTanGent Festival 2019 takes place in Bristol, UK, on August 15-17th. Two-day and three-day tickets are available for 99 and 115 pounds, respectively. Daily tickets are available for 60 pounds and there is a special VIP ticket available for 185 pounds. All of them can be purchased online via the festival’s website, here.
