Next week: Fora de Rebanho’s sixth anniversary with Cut Up, Saturna and more

Fora de Rebanho’s upcoming annivesary is almost upon us! The cultural association completes six years this year and has gathered a pretty cool lineup for its birthday bash, which will take place next week on March 9th, at the A.S.D.R.E.Q., in Viseu. Of the five confirmed acts, most of the attention goes to the Swedish death machine known as Cut Up, a band composed of current and former members of the recently reunited Vomitory and who will be presenting their two records, Forensic Nightmares and Wherever They May Rot, for the first time in Portugal. The Spanish doom rockers Saturna are another name that deserves much attention – although, to be fair, all of them do. Formed in 2010, the group navigates through various genres that range from proto heavy metal and hard rock to doom and soul. An interesting mixture and one that has pretty good results live, we’re sure. Moving from the international acts to the Portuguese ones, we have the old school punk rock of Capitão Fantasma, who are currently celebrating 30 years of activity and are ready to set sail with a new album this year, as well as the old school death metal of the Lisbon veterans Theriomorphic and the heavy stoner rock of newcomers It Was The Elf, whose first album was released in 2016 to great appraise. The stage is set, the acts are ready and the candle are lit: let’s have a fucking blast. And maybe some cake too.

Tickets for the bash are still available for 7 euros (for members of the association) and 12 euros (for non-members) and are available for purchase via private message to Fora do Rebanho on their Facebook page, here, or at the box in the day of the event.
