Asphyx, Razor and Dark Funeral among the first names confirmed for Brutal Assault 25

Fresh off this year’s edition, Brutal Assault has confirmed the first names for 2020. The biggest underground metal festival of Czech Republic will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary next year which, as you might have guessed, is a very important milestone for the festival. In the spirit of celebration, the festival has promised an eccletic and gigantic lineup as it has always delivered and the first eight names confirmed will not disappoint in any way, shape or form. Starting with the obvious names you read in the headline, we got the Dutch death/doom masters Asphyx (on the photo above), who return to the festival to once again give the audience a lesson in brutality, as well as the Canadian speed thrashers Razor, who have become increasingly more active as of late and are sure to deliver a fast-paced show filled with the best riffs the genre has to offer, and the Swedish black metallers Dark Funeral that recently celebrated their 25th Anniversary. Also confirmed are the North American funeral doomsters Evoken and their fellow countrymen Nocturnus AD, the Danish atmospheric black folk artist Myrkur, the Norwegian experimentalist Manes and the Czech avant-rockers Hentai Corporation. Many more names will be confirmed soon, so keep you eyes peeled for further announcements.
