Next week: Amplificasom celebrates their 13th Anniversary with the return of Godspeed You! Black Emperor to Portugal

There are a lot of special things in this world, but few are greater than what Godspeed You! Black Emperor have done for music worldwide. And if you couple that with the anniversary of a veryy endearing promoter, you got a recipe for a tremendous occasion. That’s right, the talented folks at Amplificasom are celebrating 13 years of hard work and incredible music by bringing us the return of GY!BE to Portugal. Authors of great records such as F♯ A♯ ∞, Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven, ‘Allelujah! Don’t Bend! Ascend! and, more recently, Luciferian Towers, the Canadian collective led by Efrim Menuck have been at the forefront of experimental music and post-rock as a whole with their cinematic and emotional approach to music. They will be presenting their aforementioned most recent record, Luciferian Towers, in two dates – November 9th at Lisboa ao Vivo, in Lisbon, and November 10th at Hard Club, in Porto -, and will be joined by expansive ambient drone duo Light Conductor, who will be opening both nights.
