Brutal Assault 25: Cattle Decapitation and Katatonia among the newest lineup additions

Another month, another fresh batch of bands for Brutal Assault. Celebrating its 25th Anniversary and already boasting an impressive lineup (as always) that includes bands such as Arcturus, Asphyx, Dark Funeral, Razor, Sigh, Venom and many others, the biggest and best Czech underground metal festival announces nine more bands, totalling to over 40 artists confirmed – and that’s just 33% of the lineup! Fuckin’ hell.

Digressions aside, we are happy to tell you that the California progressive grindsters and animal rights supporters Cattle Decapitation (on the photo above) are now confirmed. The band will soon unleash their eighth full-lenght, entitled Death Atlas, so this is the perfect time for a brutal visit to Jaroměř. The Swedish masters of dark melodies and tones Katatonia are also confirmed, as well as Fever 333, Fueled By Fire, Imperial Triumphant, Life of Agony, Mysticum, Psykup and Shadow of Intent. As mentioned above, Brutal Assault still has 67% of its 25th Anniversary lineup to be revealed, so keep your eyes peeled for further announcements.

Brutal Assault 25 takes place at Fortress Josefov, in Jaroměř, on August 5th-8th, 2020. Four-day tickets are available for 2450 Kč (approximately 95 euros) and can be purchased online via the festival’s eshop, here.
