Monuments confirmed for Comendatio Music Fest 2020

The announcement season for next year’s edition of Comendatio Music Fest is officially open and the first name to be confirmed is none other than Monuments! Formed in 2007 by guitarist John Browne and former vocalist Josh Travis, this British quintet play the well-known and appreciated djent strand of progressive metal, popularised by names such as Meshuggah, Animals as Leaders and Periphery. The band is the first confirmation for the festival’s 2020 edition and will be presenting their latest record, Phronesis, which was released last year via Century Media Records. More names will be confirmed in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for further announcements.

Comendatio Music Fest 2020 takes place in Paço da Comenda, in Tomar, on June 6th-7th. Two-day tickets are available for an early bird price of 45 euros and can be purchased online via the festival’s website.
