Brutal Assault 25: Red Fang, Pentagram and Fleshgod Apocalypse among the newest lineup additions

After the bombastic announcement of Mercyful Fate last week which closed of the first half of its lineup, Brutal Assault kicks of February with eleven more bands that range from death and black metal to stoner and doom, and everything else in between. Starting off with the big boys, the Portland quartet Red Fang (on the photo above) will be making an appearance for some good beer drinking and bottle smashing, stoner frenzy. The Washington doom metal icons Pentagram are also confirmed, armed with newfound strength and vigor, as are the Italian symphonic death metal maestros of Fleshgod Apocalypse. Last but by no means least, you should all welcome to the lineup the legendary M.O.D., as well as Darkest Hour, Denial of God, Exhumed, Municipal Waste, Necrot, Soreption and Valkyrja. More names will be confirmed soon, so keep your eyes peeled for further announcements. 

Brutal Assault 25 takes place at Fortress Josefov, in Jaroměř, on August 5th-8th, 2020. Four-day tickets are available for 106 euros and can be purchased online via the festival’s eshop, here.
