Swans postpone European tour to 2021, return to Portugal rescheduled to March

Swans are not dead! To the good news of Swans’ second resurrection – and the impending release of leaving meaning, the album that marks this rejuvenated and reinvented return -, we now also have a new date for the reunion of the band led by Michael Gira with Portugal. In addition to Christoph Hahn, Phil Puleo and Christopher Pravdica, who were part of the previous Swans incarnation, Gira will now also be accompanied on stage by Dana Schecter (Insect Ark and ex-Angels of Light) and renowned producer and composer Larry Mullins (Bad Seeds and Iggy Pop). After being forced to cancel their first European tour since 2017 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Swans announce the postponement of said tour to March of 2021 and Portugal is once again contemplated by a single and exclusive show – on March 28th, Swans will perform at the Hard Club, in Porto, with former Swans member Norman Westberg opening the night (as well as all the other shows of the tour).
