Belphegor and Suffocation announce rescheduled co-headlining European tour dates, return to Portugal set for March

Two years later, the second edition of Europe Under Black Death Metal Fire brought by The Flaming Arts Agency is finally back! The legendary bands and Nuclear Blast label mates Suffocation and Belphegor are teaming up once again for the blasting extreme metal mix, strengthened even more by the well-known Polish blasphemers Hate.

Having formed over 30 years ago, Suffocation are among the world’s death metal pioneers. On this tour, they’re going to perform songs from their latest album …Of the Dark Light, as well as hits from the former albums. This is also a great opportunity to check them live with the new vocalist — Ricky Myers. Within the EUBDMF II tour, Belphegor will be performing their new album set to be released this Fall via Nuclear Blast. Since 1993, the Austrian black metallers have been delivering their select diabolical death musick; one album after another has nailed down the tightest black/death performances. The band’s lyrics tirelessly explore the darkest, most dismal parts of demonology, witchcraft and the grand devil himself. The legendary Polish blackened death gods Hate will be presenting their new record, Rugia, that will be released this Summer via Metal Blade. The band offers European tribes a taste of new songs of pure blasphemy inspired by archaic Slavic themes and mythologies, as well as the best works from Auric Gates of Veles.

Joining this trek will also be Necrosy and Skaphos – both joining the tour from Feb. 23 to Mar. 10 -, as well as Devils Rage and Blasphemous Creation – both joining the tour from Mar. 11 to Mar. 27. These bands will complement the mind-blowing package for the European extreme metal lovers. This amazingly brutal trek will once again include two dates in Portugal – March 17th at the LAV, in Lisbon, and March 18th at the Hard Club, in Porto. Information regarding tickets for both dates will be announced soon. Check out the entire tour schedule below.
