Cosmic Void reveals complete lineup for its 2022 edition
From the darkest, loneliest corners of the universe came a new black metal enlightenment, a promise for the withered souls that scour the beyond in search of the most extreme and creatively unbound outfits the genre has to offer. Unfortunately, due to the usual and well-known circumstances, that promise was postponed but in turn, became more potent and much grander. Today, the mystical beings being the Cult of Parthenope reveal the totality of the lineup that will be featured on their upcoming new black metal celebration, and we are beyond excited about the names announced.
Still taking root at the heart of Camden Town, in London, Cosmic Void fulfils the promise of bringing forward the finest bands that exist in the genre. Starting with the headliners, we have the Norwegian industrial black metal maniacs Mysticum – performing their first UK show since 1996 -, and the Greek mythological blasphemers Rotting Christ – performing a special 35th Anniversary set in their only London show for 2022. Further down the lineup, we have the exciting and long-awaited return to London by Kampfar, In The Woods, Endstille and Forgotten Tomb, as well as a panoply of incredible UK debut shows by Akhlys, Whoredom Rife, Make A Change Kill Yourself, Vanhelga, Ellende, Abyssic and Odium Humani Generis. And let’s not forget the UK exclusive performances of Enthroned, Archgoat, Endezzma, Hetroetzen, Sortilegia and Darvaza, as well as Carpathian Forest – performing an exclusive Black Shining Leather set. Last but by no means least, we also have Seth, Auðn, Tableau Mort and Heathen Deity, completing an impressive and extravagant lineup of darkening proportions. Are you ready for the ceremony?
