Amplifest 2022: Indignu, Scúru Fitchádu, Process of Guilt and more added to the lineup

If you thought Amplifest didn’t have any more surprises left in the bag for this year, you couldn’t be more wrong. To an already stacked lineup on both weekends of the festival now join six more names, each of the them showcasing the different music scenes that exist within Portugal. For the first weekend, we now have the confirmation of the hypnotic, pulsating and minimalistic electronic project Clothilde, the solo project of João Morais entitled O Gajo, a project inspired by fado that makes use of a classic Portuguese instrument called viola campaniça, and the sludge/doom metal outfit Process of Guilt, the latter presenting their upcoming record, Slaves Beneath the Sun. As for the second weekend, we will now receive the beautiful post-rock of Indignu, who will be presenting their upcoming record Adeus, as well as the experimental classical compositions of Luís Fernandes and the energetic punk, metal, noise and funaná fusion of Scúru Fitchádu. And that’s not all – the final announcement will arrive next week, so keep your eyes peeled and get ready for even more confirmations!

Amplifest 2022 takes place in two weekends – October 7th-9th and October 13th-15th -, at the Hard Club, in Porto. Three-day tickets purchased for the 2021 edition are only valid for the first weekend. Three-day tickets for the second weekend are still available at a regular price of 115 euros. More information is readily available at the festival’s website here.
