Boris announce Spring 2023 European tour dates with Pupil Slicer and Asunojokei, return to Portugal scheduled for June

It is time to feel the heavy vibrations, as the mighty Japanese titans of drone metal Boris are making their return to Europe. Set for Spring, this trek will see of the most innovative, genre-defying and amplifier worshipping bands in the universe not only celebrate their 30th Anniversary, but also present their latest Heavy Rocks record, which is part of a trilogy that also includes their 2002 and 2011 records of the same name. Opening this wonderful tour as special guests on select dates will be the British mathcore and powerviolence outfit Pupil Slicer (from April 29th to May 17th, excluding Desertfest) and the Japanese post-black metal group Asunojokei (from May 19th to May 30th, excluding Heart of Noise Festival). Two dates in Portugal are also set, albeit without the aforementioned opening acts, which will mark the band’s return to the country after twelve years – on June 3rd, Boris will perform at the Galeria Zé dos Bois, in Lisbon, and on June 4th, they will perform at gnration, in Braga. Tickets for the show in Braga are now available for 15 euros and can be purchased online via Bilheteira Online. Ticket information regarding the show in Lisbon will go live tomorrow.
