Alcest, Dawn Ray’d and Svalbard among the first names confirmed for Soulcrusher 2023

The first names for Soulcrusher are here and we couldn’t be more excited! The festival, described as “an apocalyptic trip into the unknown where bonecrushing riffs meet melancholic and dark soundscapes”, has been causing shockwaves across the underground metal scene ever since its inception in 2016, due to it’s carefully curated lineups, that are both diverse and explosive. This year is no different, as Soulcrusher unveils the first name that will be a part of the limeup of its seventh edition. At the forefront, we have the French dreamy shoegazers Alcest, the British antifascist and anarchist black metal outfit Dawn Ray’d (on the photo above) and the British post-metal group Svalbard. Also confirmed are the German nautical funeral doomsters Ahab and the French powerviolence outfit Plebeian Grandstand, as well as the Danish sludge metal quartet LLNN, the German doom rockers Fvnerals and the Canadian black/death metal quintet Wake. More names will be unveiled soon, so keep your eyes peeled for further announcements.

Soulcrusher 2023 takes place at Doornroosje, in Nijmegen, on October 13th-14th. Two-day tickets are now available for 95 euros and can be purchased online via the festival’s website.
