SonicBlast 2024: Black Mountain and Fugitive among the newest lineup additions

Boasting a rather impressive and diverse lineup so far, which includes the likes of High On Fire, Viagra Boys, Gaye Su Akyol, Truckfighters, Brant Bjork Trio, Colour Haze, Home Front and Poison Ruïn (just to name a few), SonicBlast has just confirmed four more bands that will surely whet the appetite of anyone hungry for more heavy music, from the psychedelic regions to the more chaotic ones. First in line are the Canadian psychedelic spacefarers Black Mountain, who wil be returning to Portugal to present their latest release, 2019s Destroyer, as well as the North American crossover thrashers Fugitive, a group founded by members of Power Trip, Creeping Death, The Impalers, Stymie and Skourge. The second salvo of the announcement includes the New Zealand heavy psych rock two-piece Earth Tongue and the German fuzzy powerhouse trio Daily Thompson, the latter performing on the warm-up party of SonicBlast. More names will be unveiled soon so keep your eyes peeled for further announcements.

SonicBlast 2024 takes place at the Praia da Duna do Caldeirão, in Âncora, from August 8th-10th. Three-day tickets are available for 90 euros until May 31st, after which they will be available for 100 euros. They can be purchased online via Bilheteira Online.
