With just one day to go before the ticket sale starts, we got word of two more names confirmed for next year’s edition of Roadburn. And two big names they are. As some might have guessed, Tomas Lindberg being next year’s curator brought the possibility of At The Gates to perform at the festival. And indeed they are. As part of Tomas Lindberg’s The Burning Darkness curated event, At The Gates will perform a special set that, according to Tomas, “will dive headfirst into the melancholic eclectic darkness of our back catalogue and explore different, challenging collaborations”. And as if that wasn’t special enough, Tomas will also welcome in his curated event the prestigious and metamorphic Swedish composer Anna von Hausswolff, who will be showcasing her critically-acclaimed new record, Dead Magic, in all its glory and splendour. More names are expected to be announced soon, so keep your eyes peeled.
Roadburn 2019 takes place at 013, in Tilburg, on April 11th-14th. Four-day and three-day tickets will be available for 208,50 and 185,50 euros, respectively. Daily tickets for Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be 66,50 euros each and daily tickets for Sunday will be 59,50 euros. All wil be available to purchase online via Ticketmaster, starting October 4th.
