Jupiterian to play Portugal for the first time in April, more European dates to follow

Creators of massive walls of sound, the Brazilian entity known as Jupiterian play a mixture of sludge, doom and a little hint of death metal, and are currently one of the most promising bands in the more extreme spectrum of metal music. Don’t take just our word for it: Cvlt Nation named their latest release, Terraforming, as the best doom album of 2017, describing it as a “work of deeply traumatizing heaviness and of moving atmospheric prowess that has seemingly brought together the classic doom crush of bands like Yob, Unearthly Trance, and Neurosis”. And as if that weren’t exciting enough, Jupiterian will be coming down to Europe this coming April and their first-ever performance in Portugal is booked! The band will be playing at Metalpoint, in Porto, on April 17th, while accompanied by the Portuguese funeral doom duo OAK. Do note that Jupiterian will be on tour with Gaerea from April 19th to April 27th, so keep your eyes peeled for further date announcements in your area.

Tickets for the Porto show are available for 8 euros and can be purchased online via Larvae Records. Please note that the ticket price will change to 10 euros during the week of the event.
