After an initial postponement due to the pandemic that was felt at the time, the 30th Annivesary of Opeth is now finally underway and in a few days, it will make its stop in Lisbon. Under the premise of playing one song from each of their records – the ones voted the most by their fans -, the legendary prog rock and metal quintet are celebrating their three decades long career in the best way possible. We won’t spoil any surprises, nor shall we reveal which songs are being played since the tour started in November 12th, in Copenhagen. All we are going to say is that under no circumstances should you miss this absolute celebration of prog music that will take over the stage of Sala Tejo, on November 26th. Oh, and have we mentioned that the Canadian progressive thrash metal masters Voivod will be opening the ceremony? See you there!
Tickets for the show are still available for 28 euros and be purchased online via Ticketline. They are running low, however, so be sure to grab yours quickly.
