After the confirmation of headliners Gaerea, Outeiro Metal Fest now confirms the next entry in its lineup and it’s a pretty cool one. Hailing from A Coruña, Galicia, Perpetual play a modernized and singular version of death metal, drawing inspiration from the chainsaw-like riffing of Obituary and the atmospherical potency of Amon Amarth, something that is heard in their two records to date, Carving a Dismembered God and Maze of Chaos. With the latter, released just last year, the band managed to garner some international attention, even going as far as participating in the much-lauded WOA Metal Battle, the worldwide competition that takes the best of the best to the famous Wacken Open Air. Thus, we expect great things from the Galicians when they step onto the stage of Outeiro Metal Fest. More bands will be confirmed soon, so keep your eyes peeled for further announcements.
Outeiro Metal Fest takes place in Outeiro Seco, on September 13th-14th. As previously mentioned, the festival is free-entry. There will also be a warm-up on the day prior to the festival. More information will be revealed soon.
