The Galician folk druids of Sangre de Muerdago are returning to Portugal this month and we couldn’t be any more excited. The collective led by one Pablo C. Ursusson has become one of the most recognizable names in folk music thanks to their honest and heartfelt approach to music, which invokes images of Nature, of memories past and of long lost friends who departed this world into the next. Their music creates a perfect connection with their audience that gathers in all corners of the world to see the quartet perform emotional and intimate shows. It has been two years since Sangre de Muerdago last visited Portugal and in a couple of weeks they will return to once again present their latest record, Noite, an endearing collection of songs expertly woven through a myriad of ancestral tools and instruments. On March 17th, Sangre de Muerdago will peform at the medieval pub Casa do Fauno, in Sintra, and on March 20th, the group will descend unto Teatro Rivoli’s Understage. As we have stated many times before when speaking of the Galician druids, you shouldn’t miss these nights of pure magic and companionship.
Ticket for the show in Porto are available for 7 euros and can still be purchased online via Bilheteira Online or physically at Teatro Rivoli. Tickets for the Sintra show will be 15 euros and will be available on the day of the show, at Casa do Fauno.
