It’s been nine years since we’ve seen Atheist set foot on European soil. Renowned pioneers of technical death metal, the group founded by vocalist Kelly Shaefer and drummer Steve Flynn is preparing to return to Europe and the UK for the first time since 2011 and will be bringing with them a power-packed set shockful of fan favourites as well as songs that have never been performed in a live setting before. This also means a return to Portugal, where the band will perform at RCA Club, in Lisbon, on September 17th. Joining the band on this date and the rest of the trek will be the recently returned Norwegian death metallers Cadaver, who just last month released their brand-new EP, D.G.A.F., as well as the French blackened death metal monsters Svart Crown and the heavy metal horror concept band From Hell. Tickets for the show in Portugal are available for 15 euros can be purchased online via Bilheteira Online. Below, you can check the tour schedule so far. More dates will be announced soon.
