The extreme progressive metal standard-bearers Born of Osiris are finally making their return to Europe for a tour that promises to be one of the highlights of the year for lovers of heavy music delivered with virtuosity and in a surgical manner. The Chicago quartet have been releasing standalone singles as of late, so one can expect new music and perhaps, a brand-new record, released until they hit the road. Joining the band on this wonderful trek as very special guests are the UK brutal slammers Ingested, the North American progressive deathcore outfit Entheos and the Portuguese technical deathcore quartet The Voynich Code. And speaking of Portugal, the tour will take Born of Osiris to the country for the first time – they will be at the Hard Club, in Porto, and LAV, in Lisbon, on June 1st and 3rd, respectively. Tickets for both shows are 25 euros and will be purchasable online via Ticketline, starting January 31st.
