Iron Maiden announce Summer 2025 European tour dates, return to Portugal scheduled for July

For nearly 50 years, Iron Maiden have maintained themselves as the standard-bearers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal with their massive shows and even grander sound. When bassist Steve Harris formed the band back in 1975, everyone could tell that Iron Maiden was special, and over the years, their hard work payed off in a perfect way, as the band is now one of the most recognizable names in the metal scene and beyond. In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the band, Iron Maiden have just unveiled the first European dates that will comprise a two-year-long tour, with Portugal once again included – the band will be performing at MEO Arena, in Lisbon, on July 6th, with tickets going on sale on September 26th. During the tour, aptly named “Run For Your Lives”, Iron Maiden will be playing material from their eponymous debut all the way to Fear of the Dark, so this will the one tour you will not want to miss. Opening the trek on select dates will be North American hard rockers Halestorm (May 27 – June 16, June 25 and June 28), melodic groove metal outfit The Raven Age (June 21 – June 30) and alternative metal quintet Avatar (July 5 – August 2).
