A brave band at the epicentre of music in Montreal, Canada, Big Brave has ventured into an action plan that, without compromising on weight, intensity and volume, reveals a sense of space, tension and vulnerability that is rarely felt in a torrent so imposing on the senses. Returning to Europe once again, in proof of a growing cult following, the trio of Mathieu Ball on guitar, Robin Wattie on vocals and guitar, and Tasy Hudson on drums and percussions, bring their increasingly personalised avalanche of repetitive riffs, feedback, atmospheric passages, martial rhythms and Wattie’s expressive voice with A Chaos of Flowers. This, of course, means that a stop in Portugal is an imperative endeavour, and Big Brave will make the most of it, as they are set to perform at gnration, in Braga, and Galeria Zé dos Bois, in Lisbon, on April 5th and 6th, respectively. Tickets for both shows are available for 12 euros, and can still be purchased online via Bilheteira Online. Joining Big Brave on both nights is MJ Guider, the delightful music project of Melissa Guion, with the date in Lisbon also including a performance by Portugal’s own darkwave extraordinaires NECRØ. Make sure not to miss any of these singular nights.
