Fresh off the Holiday season and its immense, and sometimes decadent, celebrations, the new year is set to start in a brilliant way with the return of Itenerance. As a multidisciplinary and itenerant festival dedicated to the creation and dissemination of independent music, Itenerance seeks to promote the best music and art that is being made out there today, while also encouraging community engagement and promoting safe spaces for women, racialized minorities and the LGBT+ community. Taking place in three different venues throughout the historic Rua da Madeira, in Porto – especifically, Barracuda, Era Uma Vez no Porto and Ferror Bar -, the festival promises a two-day extravaganza, plus a warmup, with a tremendous lineup that will leave a lasting impression.
On the warmup day, the festival grounds will receive Brainless Duck, El Saguaro and Ideal Victim, while also featuring talks and meet & greets, The first day of the festival will feature performances by Acid Misery, Hazing Lungs, Lavra, Palegazer, Pledge and Redemptus (on the photo above), with the second and last day of the festival featuring Al FInal Solo Habrá Cenizes, Awaiting The Vultures, Mau Jesus, Orum, Phase Transition and Superalma Project. Both days will will also additional performances, DJ sets and an art market. Ready to start the year in the best way possible?
Itenerance 2025 takes place at Barracuda, Era Uma Vez no Porto and Ferror Bar, in Porto, on January 17th-18th, with a warmup on January 16th. Full festival tickets for the festival are still available for 40 euros, with daily tickets ranging from 15 euros to 25 euros. All options can be purchased online via The Last Seat.
