Known for their singular approach to psych rock and doom metal, Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats have built their own identity over the last decade and a half, marked by hypnotic riffs, unsettling melodies and an aesthetic deeply rooted in the occult imagery of the 70s. Always with an intent to surprise, their latest record, Nell’ Ora Blu, is a conceptual and cinematic opus, highly inspired by the Italian movie genre giallo. The British group’s concerts are equally unique, dense and immersive experiences, where weight and repetition transform into a collective trance that is difficult to forget. And on June 12th, for the very first time, Uncle Acid and co. will make an appearance in Lisbon, where they will haunt LAV and mesmerise its audience. Opening this wodnerful night of occult magick will be the the progressive psych rockers Dirty Sound Magnet and Porto’s own heavy psych outfit Madmess. Tickets are still available for 30 euros and can be purchased online via Bilheteira Online. See you there!
