A brand-new festival has risen in the Northern regions of Portugal! Called Souto Metal Fest, the festival aims to bring the best there is in the Portuguese underground metal scene to the small village of Souto, in Telões. As it stands, the festival has confirmed a contingent of bands headlined by the black metal outfit Gnosis and the grindcore masters Besta (on the photo above), who will serve songs from their respective latest records, Within // Without and Terra em Desapego. Also confirmed are the alternative metal quartet In We Fall, the sludge metal trio Music in Low Frequencies, the doomsters RUINA, the Proletarian death metallers Sarronco, the groove metal quartet CHAOSADDICTION, and the rock newcomers Fora D’oras. An afterparty will happen after the shows, with the festival’s DJ, so we urge you not to miss the grand debut edition of Souto Metal Fest!
Souto Metal Fest takes place in Souto, in Telões, Portugal, on May 30th. Tickets are available for 10 euros and can be purchased online via Shotgun.
