Eternally fusing ethereal atmospheres and haunting synth melodies, Kælan Mikla are an absolute force within the post-punk and darkwave scene. Often drawing inspiration from nature and mythology, as well as personal experiences, the trio of vocalist Laufey Soffía, bassist Margrét Rósa and keyboardist Sólveig Matthildur bathe their audiences in otherworldly and melancholic soundscapes that one feels compelled to dance to. Next week, especifically on April 16th, Kælan Mikla will make their return to Lisbon for an exclusive show at RCA Club, bringing with them a rich discography filled with amazing records such as their 2016 debut, 2018s Nótt eftir nótt, and 2021s Undir Köldum Norðurljósum. Tickets for the show are still available for 25 euros and can be purchased online via Mutick. Ready for an unforgettable night?
