The black bile and the foul stench rising from these bodies barking like the dogs of Lautréamont foretell the end proclaimed by the ethereal and spellbinding Monk, creator of Inferno das Febras. This August, the waters of the River Mesio will once again mirror the fury of the stage, to be felt with love in the pit, at the heart of Parque de Casais in Lousada. Craft, gastronomy, and the most precious force of all, rock n’ roll, transform Inferno das Febras from a simple place into an inescapable state of being. On the first announcement, the festival unveils the first five bands that will tear your soul apart; we have the Belgian thrash metal quintet Arkangel and the German instrumental stoner rock outfit Rotor, as well as a contingent of Portuguese bands that include the brutal death metallers Grog, the stoner doomsters Lord of Confusion, and the instrumental post-rockers Cat Soup. More bands will be unveiled soon, so keep your eyes peeled for further announcements.
Inferno das Febras will take place at the Parque de Lazes de Casais, in Lousada, from August 28th-29th. Early bird two-day tickets are now available for 18 euros and can be purchased online via Bilheteira Online.
