It seems more and more likely that after a two-year long drought in the live music scene, we are finally going to be able to fully return to the place that means the most to us and that has provided us with some of the best memories we will ever have. This time around, it’s the Berlin-based progressive and post metal metal collective The Ocean that brings the good news. After a slew of postponements and cancellations, the group will finally be able to go on an headlining tour around a few European countries, right after wrapping their tour as support to Karnivool. With them, The Ocean will be bringing their latest release in paleontology-related music, the impressive Phanerozoic II: Mesozoic | Cenozoic, which was released on September 25th, 2020 via Pelagic Records and Metal Blade. Joining the band as special guests will be Swedish experimental post-rock group pg.lost and the Belgian psychedelic post-metal collective Psychonaut. And of course, the date in Portugal is still as set in stone as ever – the tour will pass through RCA Club, in Lisbon, on May 31st. Tickets for the show in Portugal are available for 25 euros and can be purchased online via Ticketline. In the meantime, you can check the entire tour schedule below.
