This month of May is pretty packed with great shows to see – a sign of the times as the worldwide pandemic starts to subside and live shows start to come forth in full force once again. After many delays and cancellations, the Berlin-based progressive and post metal metal collective known as The Ocean will finally return to Portugal for a single show that will be taking place at the RCA Club, in Lisbon, on May 31st. In said show, the sextet will be presenting the amazing Phanerozoic II: Mesozoic / Cenozoic, their latest record in what is an incredible paleontology-related discography. Accompanying the band in such a singular night will be Swedish experimental post-rock group pg.lost and the Belgian psychedelic post-metal collective Psychonaut, each also presenting their latest records, Oscillate and Unfold the God Man, respectively. Tickets for the show are still available for 25 euros and can be purchased online via Ticketline. Make sure not to miss this one, it’s going to be a blast!
