SonicBlast unveils the first names for its 2023 edition

At long last, the first confirmations for next year’s edition of SonicBlast have arrived! With the Christmas spirit very present in their hearts, the organization reveals the first nineteen names that will be part of the always eclectic lineup of what is one of the best stoner festivals out there. Headlining this magnificent first announcement are OFF!, the North American hardcore punk band founded by the legendary Keith Morris, who are performing for the first time in Portugal, and Acid King, in a long-awaited return to the festival, as well as the living legends of NOLA sludge Eyehategod and noise rock masters A Place To Bury Strangers. Also confirmed is the improvised psychedelia of Earthless, the serial killer-inspired doom metal of Church of Misery and the progressive stoner rock of Elder. Last but by no means least, this first announcement is completed by Kadavar, Naxatras, Death Valley Girls, Mondo Generator, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Black Rainbows, Weedpecker, Monarch, Spirit Mother, Acid Mammoth, El Altar del Holocausto and Kanaan. More names will be revealed very soon, so keep your eyes peeled for further announcements.

SonicBlast 2023 takes place at the Praia da Duna do Caldeirão, in Âncora, from August 10th-12th. Three-day tickets are available for 75 euros until January 31st, 2023 – after that date, they will increase to 85 euros -, and can be purchased online via Bilheteira Online.
